I photograph to share my experience of seeing beauty in something not ordinarily considered beautiful, to expose the heavenly within the mundane.
I photograph intuitively, not planning what to shoot; I work until I experience a sense of harmony with my subject. When the feeling is right, I make a photograph. By abandoning myself to what is unfolding within the moment, the unexpected can present itself.
What I discover while working in this manner is a relationship between the subject and a healing and nourishing act, creating an opportunity for others to experience the sublime excavated from the mundane.
