Mark Lucock graduated from university with a degree in Biology and obtained his PhD in 1991. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Biology and Chartered Biologist. Mark moved from the UK to the Australian NSW Central Coast in 2003 and produces photographic art that reflects the broad spectrum of nature and landscapes from around the world.

His first book Photography for the Naturalist published in 2002 is lavishly illustrated and covers the technicalities and aesthetics of shooting all kinds of animal, plant and landscape images. Mark's second book (2003) is titled Professional Landscape and Environmental Photography: From 35mm to Large Format. His third book released in 2004 is titled Succeed in Landscape Photography. A fourth book, Digital Nature & Landscape Photography. is in preparation, and should be available in 2007.
